Here Bob Williams leaves us at the Cincinnati Airport after riding from St. Louis with me.  Since the Cincinnati, Ohio, Airport is in Kentucky, go figure, we take the Anderson Ferry, five miles west of downtown, back to Ohio and US 50, then through Cincinnati.

As 50 passes through Cincinnati, it goes past two stadiums and an arena.

This is a beautiful town, the most attractive town Hwy. 50 goes through in its 3,073 miles.  The town looks like an old eastern US town with 50 becoming a wide tree-lined boulevard.

We purchased gas here at 9:45 a.m. on this 4-state day and turned our watches forward one hour.

Home of Johnny Paycheck who recorded, "Take This Job and Shove It."  Sign along the road, "Shazam! Junk!" reminding me that Jim Nabors will be singing the National Anthem at the Indy 500 again this year.

Newly planted corn fields.  Curvy roads, rolling hills, seldom a straight stretch of road on 2-lane 50.
--Chillicothe, Ohio, USA
Lunch at noon at a MacDonalds near the Interstate on the east side.  Talked extensively with a lumber salesmanfrom Columbus, OH, about classic cars.  He was very knowledgeable.
--Athens, Ohio, USA

Overgrown rail fences around cornfields.  Ohio University.  We pulled off the road onto a dirt road for a nature call.
