"See the USA in Your Chevrolet,
Coast-to-Coast and Border-to-Border"

In my recent travels in North America, I've photographed a few
landscapes, here are a few of my favorites:

Of the 800-plus lighthouses in the USA, Sue and I have seen our
share, from
North Carolina's Outerbanks up the east coast to Maine, all three
western states, plus the state with the most lighthouses...Michigan,
with other Great Lakes lights.

Europe and North America have been the continents where we've
ridden the most trains. However, I've placed here just trains of
North America, shot since I have had a digital camera.

Smoky Mountians Railway.)
Since 1988, when we bought a
Classic Chevrolet, I've been to many car shows. There you see the
cars at their best. Here's a few I've photographed, including our
'56 and friend Paul's '57, both of which made it 12,000 miles around
the US in 2004 (see above).

With all the car pictures I've
taken at car shows around the west, I've started some other categories:

My home county, Jennings County, Indiana, had three or more covered
bridges that I had seen as a kid. Neighboring Jackson county had
longer bridge spans to cross bigger rivers. Now I've found that
the west coast also has many covered bridges as well. Here are a
few of my favorites. One place you can find a listing of covered
bridges in the US is: http://ohiobarns.com/covbri/index.html
